Devlog #1: Terrain and Textures!


Basic terrain tiles have been completed and castle walls now have a fancy new cobblestone texture!

Changes:
  • Added cobblestone texture, with 3 varieties (regular, cracked, cracked with mossy detailing)
  • Cobblestone texture added to castle walls
  • Made rotated walls
  • Added grass & water textures
  • Added basic path tiles (cobblestone and dirt)

Next, I plan on focusing on refining the castle walls to give them a more weathered feel, adding alternative tiles for the walls like windows and flags, and adding door and drawbridge tiles. I also would like to further refine the path tiles and create some border tiles to go between the terrain and water tiles.
